Hubert de Billy is representing the 5th generation in the Pol Roger family.

He was born in Epernay and after studying business in Paris, he joined the family business to oversee the commercial and marketing activities of the house. He had always wanted to join the house to ensure that the family spirit and style will remain in the champagnes. As a family member together with the winemaker, he takes part in the blending ceremony of the cuvee and presents his choice to the rest of the family members for the final approval. He was also instrumental in the creation of “Rich” (demisec) and “Pure” (zero dosage).

Hubert has three children representing the sixth generation.
